Indian Rescue Mission rescues children forced into prostitution and seeks justice against their oppressors; by identifying victims and perpetrators of forced prostitution, by mobilizing law enforcement agencies to rescue victims and arrest perpetrators, by assisting the legal system in the prosecution of perpetrators and by encouraging rescued girls to seek justice and to engage in effective rehabilitation.

WHY CHILDREN?
15 million children live as bonded child laborers.
2 million child prostitutes between the age of 5 and 15 years and 5,00,000 of children are forced into this trade every year.
2 million children do not live to see their first birthday.
18 million children live on the streets, homeless and without hope.
There are 16.5 million disabled children.
3% of India's children are mentally challenged. (10 million boys and 5 million girls).
